In the signup process, you will be given the option of keeping your current number, or requesting a new one. Regardless of which you select, FonVantage® will provide a temporary number. This is because the porting process typically takes 2-3 weeks to complete. In order to request a number port, print out the Letter of Authorization (LOA) that will be attached to your order confirmation email, sign and date the form. Fax or mail the completed LOA, along with a copy of your current local phone bill to:

FonVantage® will contact you via email when the LOA is received, when your port is scheduled, and once again when the port process completes. It is your responsibility to leave service open with your current provider until the number ports, and to verify cancellation of previous account upon port completion. |
